Angel Island

Angel Island is historic to San Francisco because of its history as the immigration center for Asian immigrants entering the US from 1910 to 1940. It is often referred to as the “Ellis Island of the West.” Although I do not have personal ancestral history attached to Angel Island, it was an awesome experience to go hiking and catch the breathtaking views of Marin, San Francisco, and Tiburon.
